ASXL-related disorders cause changes in the neurons that can impact the function of many body systems, including the brain, autonomic nervous system, and gastrointestinal tract. This leads to numerous symptoms, including challenges with digestion and other gastrointestinal (GI) health-related and behavioral issues.
